House progress...

...well Exxon is beginning to make settlements. Although, we have not accepted one yet. Basically, we plan on having Exxon buy our house along with some financial compensation. Mayflower is a very small town. Our neighborhood (nothing fancy, but nice) was one of the nicest in the area. The next neighborhood up jumps significantly price. Since we feel like we should not have to downgrade because of there mistake; we are hoping to get enough money to make a large enough down payment, on a more expensive home, and still keep our payments the same or possibly lower than what they are now. This process will take a few more months. Exact date is unknown. 

Our apartment has been great, and continues to let us stay. Luckily Exxon has been paying our rent, so we aren't paying rent and our mortgage. So many are still living out of hotels (for almost 2 months now), so we feel so blessed to still have a "home" and all of our things. 

I am at peace (most days ;) with this crazy situation. I know that God will teach me something through it all. It's funny to think that in MY originally plans, I was supposed to either already have another baby or ready to have one any day! Love how God knew we wouldn't have a home (at least not one large to add another human being into) to bring a baby into. Looking forward to what God has in store for the future, and looking for another new home!
